Our Site Blogger – Meet Tiffani WallaceTiffani Wallace has been treating patients with dysphagia for over ten years, in a variety of settings, including schools, SNFs, outpatient, home health and acute care. She is currently working as a clinician in home health and acute care, managing all Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
Tiffani enjoys sharing information on dysphagia through her personal website and encourages using evidence-based practice as well as practical strategies for patients with dysphagia. She frequently shares information regarding continuing education courses and applications for iPads/iPhones dealing with or related to dysphagia. Tiffani is also the creator and the administrator of the Dysphagia Therapy Group and Dysphagia Therapy Group-Professional Edition on Facebook.
Tiffani currently serves on the Advisory Board for Smarty Ears Inc and is a co-author of Dysphagia2Go. She is the author of the app iScreen Aphasia and the co-author of the app Dysphagia Therapy with Tactus Therapy. Tiffani has created multiple webinars for SpeechPathology.com and Northern Speech Services. She also travels and speaks for PESI about assessing and treating dysphagia. Tiffani holds the honor of Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing (BCSS) and is a member of ASHA, recently earning her eleventh ACE award.
